Life on the west shore of Lake Houston means boats, golf and backyard evenings, along with the mosquitoes and termites that come with the water. We keep Atascocita homes and businesses covered.
Lake Houston shapes almost everything about Atascocita. This unincorporated Harris County community stretches along the lake's west shore, with Atascocita Golf Club, lakefront neighborhoods like Atascocita Shores and Atascocita Park's trails and dog park close to home. FM 1960 and West Lake Houston Parkway carry most of the traffic, and Humble ISD schools, including Atascocita High School, anchor the neighborhoods. O'Connor Pest Control serves Atascocita from our home base in Huntsville.
Behind the name is a husband-and-wife team. Michael O'Connor started the company in 1990, served Houston for decades and now runs it with Lacy from Huntsville. You talk to the owners when you call, and they're the ones accountable for the results.
Most of our work is commercial. Atascocita's shopping and dining are concentrated along FM 1960, where restaurants, grocery-anchored retail centers, medical and professional offices and storage facilities line the road. We respond to commercial requests within 24 hours, start with a free inspection inside and out, and keep each property on a monthly or quarterly schedule.
Water brings its own pest list. Standing water near the lake and in drainage areas feeds mosquito populations, and heavy rains that raise Lake Houston push fire ants, roaches and rodents toward higher ground and into garages and homes. Moist soil near the shoreline is also prime territory for subterranean termites, including the Formosan termites established around Houston. Our mosquito control and Mist Away misting systems help reclaim the backyard.
Atascocita residents choose O'Connor for a Texas-licensed owner who inspects with moisture meters, cameras and UV lights, documents every visit and won't stop short of 100% satisfaction. Homeowners never sign a contract, and the Four Seasons Program covers service calls between visits. Call Michael at 281-374-6902 for a free inspection in Atascocita.
