Friendswood knows what Clear Creek can do after a big storm, and so do the pests that live along it. We help Friendswood homes and businesses stay protected through every wet season.
Ask anyone in Friendswood about Clear Creek and you'll hear about Hurricane Harvey, when the creek rose and flooded thousands of homes. Many homes have been rebuilt higher since, but the creek still shapes daily life here, even dividing the school districts. The city began in 1895 as a Quaker colony, the only permanent Texas town that started that way, and it kept a close-knit feel as it grew across Galveston and Harris counties. Its Fourth of July parade at Stevenson Park still draws a crowd every summer. O'Connor Pest Control serves Friendswood from our home base in Huntsville.
Michael O'Connor started our company in Houston in 1990, and today he runs it with Lacy as a family business. You won't get a call center when you phone us. You'll get an owner who knows the Houston area and will tell you plainly what your property needs.
Most of our work is commercial. Along FM 518 and FM 528, Friendswood has restaurants, retail centers, medical and professional offices, and service businesses that can't afford a pest problem in front of customers. We respond within 24 hours, start with a free interior and exterior inspection, and build a monthly or quarterly program around your business.
Water is the big story for pests here. Heavy rain and high water push rodents, ants and roaches out of the ground and into homes and businesses, and standing water after a storm breeds mosquitoes fast. Wooded lots along the creek give roof rats and termites cover, and both Formosan and native subterranean termites are active in the Houston area, which makes moisture-damaged wood an easy target.
Michael inspects with moisture meters, inspection cameras and UV lights, so problems hidden behind walls and under floors don't get missed. Homeowners never need a contract, and our Four Seasons Program covers four visits a year plus service calls in between. We also offer mosquito control and Mist Away misting systems. Call Michael at 281-374-6902 for a free inspection in Friendswood.

When the ground floods, ants, roaches and rodents lose their nests and head for dry spaces, which are often inside homes and businesses. Standing water afterward also leads to a jump in mosquitoes.
Yes. Termites are drawn to moist, softened wood, so homes that took on water or have ongoing moisture issues are at higher risk. We provide termite inspections, liquid soil treatment, termite monitors and WDI reports for Friendswood home sales.
