Huntsville is home base for O'Connor Pest Control. From the shops around the courthouse square to the homes of Elkins Lake, we bring more than 30 years of honest, thorough pest control to our own hometown.
Huntsville sits in the piney woods of Walker County, about 70 miles north of Houston along I-45. It's the hometown of Sam Houston, who is buried here, and his 67-foot statue stands watch over the interstate. Sam Houston State University, the historic courthouse square downtown, Huntsville State Park and the Sam Houston National Forest give the city its character. It's also home base for O'Connor Pest Control, located at 1056 Elkins Lake.
O'Connor Pest Control is a family business. Michael O'Connor started the company in 1990 and spent decades serving Houston before he and Lacy moved the business to Huntsville. Today we serve our new hometown and the entire Houston metro area, and when you call, you talk to the owners, not a call center.
Most of our work is commercial, and Huntsville has plenty of it: restaurants and hotels along the I-45 corridor, offices and retail around town, healthcare facilities, and the businesses that serve the university community. We respond to commercial requests within 24 hours, start with a free inspection, and build a monthly or quarterly program around how your business runs.
Life in the piney woods brings its own pest pressures. Humid weather, heavy tree cover and nearby lakes and forest create ideal conditions for termites, fire ants, mosquitoes, roaches and rodents. Wooded lots and older homes near downtown give termites and rodents easy access, while newer neighborhoods carved out of the pines often see ants and spiders move in as the land is cleared.
That's why Huntsville businesses and homeowners call O'Connor Pest Control. You get a Texas-licensed local owner who inspects with moisture meters, cameras and UV lights, documents every visit with a service ticket, and keeps working until you're 100% satisfied. Homeowners can choose our Four Seasons Program with no contract required. Call Michael at 281-374-6902 for a free inspection from the pest control company right here in Huntsville.
