Clear Lake is where Houston meets the space program and the bay. We help the offices, hotels and homes around NASA Johnson Space Center keep pests out.
Clear Lake is an engineer's kind of community. NASA's Johnson Space Center opened here in the 1960s, and Clear Lake City was planned around it on former ranch land owned by Humble Oil. Houston annexed much of the area in 1977, but it still has its own identity, with Space Center Houston drawing visitors, the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Baybrook Mall and Armand Bayou Nature Center, one of the largest urban wilderness preserves in the country. O'Connor Pest Control serves Clear Lake from our home base in Huntsville.
Our company has been family-owned since Michael O'Connor started it in Houston in 1990. Michael and Lacy still run it and answer the phone themselves, so you're always dealing with the people who own the company.
Most of our work is commercial, and Clear Lake's economy fits it well. Aerospace contractors and office buildings, hotels that host Space Center visitors and business travelers, restaurants, retail around Baybrook, medical offices and warehouses all need pest control that's documented and dependable. We respond to commercial requests within 24 hours, inspect inside and out for free, and set up a monthly or quarterly program.
Water defines this part of Houston. Clear Lake, Armand Bayou, Clear Creek and Galveston Bay keep mosquitoes active for much of the year, and Gulf storms and heavy rain drive rodents and roaches into buildings. Mature trees and wooded green belts give roof rats a path to the attic, and Formosan and native subterranean termites are both established in the Houston area.
Clear Lake residents tend to want details, and we provide them. Michael inspects with moisture meters, inspection cameras and UV lights, every visit gets a service ticket, and the standard is 100% satisfaction. Homeowners never need a contract, and our Four Seasons Program includes four visits a year plus service calls in between. Call Michael at 281-374-6902 for a free inspection in Clear Lake.
